The brief
A privacy-first document vault. Ondora finds IDs, passports, insurance policies, bills and tickets in the photo gallery, files them in an encrypted vault, pulls out expiry dates and policy numbers, and reminds people before anything runs out. No account, no cloud, and no internet permission.
What we built
- Native Android in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with on-device OCR and rule-based extractors across 18 document categories
- A fully offline AI assistant (a small LLM through llama.cpp, built with the NDK) that answers questions and cites the source page
- An encrypted vault with SQLCipher and Tink, local reminders, redacted claim-pack PDFs and password-protected backups
